Sketches 2020/21

In the later state of Corona, when I started a new job at ANIMA RES, I got into the habbit of reiterating my older works periodically. Mostly in the evening while watching series.

Striving for likeliness, i shifted my focus from speed and anatomy towards observation and secondary shapes. So i keep erasing and redoing the same two models over and over, each time observing new shapes. It is kind of a masochistic zen study.

I have been thinking a lot about sharing these iterations online, but decided to just go with my gut feeling. Those are a reflection mostly, not what i consider showcase projects. But what we do in our spare time is who we are. And right now I am always coming back to the same few faces to sharpen my observation.
